  • Abstract
    A W band wideband waveguide filter with the E-plane inserted metal strip is presented in this paper. According to the waveguide filter structure character, the W band waveguide filter circuit parameters and the character of the waveguide filter is analyzed and optimized by electromagnetic simulation software. In experiment, the W band waveguide filter is operated from 80.1 to 85.3GHz with the minimum insertion loss of 0.41dB. And the relative bandwidth of the waveguide filter is above 6%. The experiment result is agree well with the simulation results.
