Abstract
The deterioration of enameled wires due to thermal stress, mechanical stress and moisture was investigated. In high-humidity atmosphere, deterioration of enamel film of the wire was considerably affected with application of voltage, and accelerated with co-existence of electrolytic materials. The deterioration rate was influenced by homogeneity of the enamel film and its resistance to hydrolysis.
