Abstract :
A very flexible, highly conformable tape has been developed from a B-staged hydrocarbon elastomer and mica paper. It cures to a tough, rubbery insulation, which has excellent electrical properties and high heat resistance. This new tape is sealable and therefore should have broad application in electrical insulation, especially in stringent applications.
