Abstract :
A synthetic ester fluid Midel, is described which has exceptional tolerance to moisture, high thermal stability and good resistance to fire. This fluid has been developed to replace the highly toxic Polychlorobiphenols (PCB´s) it has good electrical properties such as high breakdown strength, high resistivity and resistance to arcing.
