  • Abstract
    A new apparatus for the measurement of the dissipation factor of plastics, under factory conditions, over the frequency range 0.1 to 200 MHz is described. Typical repeatability for measurements on low loss materials is within + 0.1 ? rad and the agreement with other measurement systems is ca ? 1 ? radian. Specific new design features are detailed.
