Abstract
This paper deals with the design methodology employed for design and layout of a the digital portions of a mixed signal IC. After introducing the overall chip, the design of the A-to-D converter is presented. This is followed by a presentation of the additional digital logic needed to perform track and hold unit updates on the chip. Finally, the layout issues encountered are presented
