Abstract :
An effective supply chain management and order processing is essential to focus on the needs of the customers. Supporting core business processes by means of an enterprise resource planning system (ERP) is no longer a competitive advantage, but state of the art. The key is to build future-oriented enterprise systems solutions (ES), which allow process design tools to configure the actual business processes as easy to use, active, adaptive technology for (semi-) automatic coordination of business tasks, workflow structures and software components to include and add business intelligence in form of organizational knowledge.
