Abstract :
The performance of the iteration combining-equalization (ICE) and its frequency domain implementation for high frequency high data rate transmission systems is excellent. However the convergence of the algorithm is difficult to analysis due to the iterative processing is used. In order to solve this problem, a performance analysis method is proposed through following the mutual information transfer of the soft-input soft-output (SISO) combining-equalizer and the SISO decoder, then the convergence, the bit error rate (BER) estimation and the signal to noise ratio threshold of the ICE algorithm are expounded. Simulation results confirm the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method.
