Abstract :
In this work, a Monte Carlo simulation was performed to investigate the neutron generation in different materials of entrance foil to a target assembly for [18F] FDG production. However, the aim is to study a materials that has, more or less, similar mechanical properties as the Havar® foil with less generation of secondary particles and without affecting, the yield of FDG production.
