Abstract :
Social network analysis has been widely used in analyzing the organization of terrorism since the event of 9/11 happened in 2001. This article set up a model to evaluate the effectiveness of the terrorist networks in the view of secret information transmission. Based on a trust model, we combined social network analysis and computer simulation to measure a real terrorist network and compared the consequence with a lattice and Erdos-Renyi network to test the feasibility of our model. Our work discovered a new character of convert networks and can be further used to monitor the dynamic process of the network evolution.
