Abstract
Concerning the problems that traditional manual interpretation of seismic fault is highly subjective and low accuracy, high complexity of ant tacking fault, an improved automatic tracking ant colony algorithm in fault was proposed, which can improve the speed of fault identification by reducing the numbers of ants. They used C3 coherence technique to process seismic data, then use the Gaussian filtering to process the bisect, followed is to divide the bisect into numbers of m*m small data blocks, therefore determining whether placing electric ant or not according to coherent distribution value of each pixel in data block, finally use the Calculation method based on the gradient direction of determine the ant tracking direction. Experimental results show that the improved ant colony not only can identify the fault lines correctly, but also improves the tracking of the fault lines´ speed.
