Simple Structure High Selectivity Dual-Band Filtering Antenna

This paper presents a simple structure of dual-band filtering antenna for wireless application. The antenna is treated as radiating resonator. The filter of synthesis theory is applied to the design of the dual band filtering antenna. The theory can help us the guidance of processing design. The proposed dual band filtering antenna has simple structure and display excellent performance. The dual band filtering antenna presents characteristic of three order filter with high selectivity of pass-band and strong suppression of stop-band. The measured results show approximately agreement with the simulations.
