Abstract
A new method based on the wavelet transform (WT) to improve resolution and detect air pollution is introduced. The method of Sezan et al. (1982), Chang et al. (1995), DeBrunner et al. (in preparation), Yao (1999), and DeBrunner et al. (2001), is extended to the multi-sensor data fusion imagery available with low cost satellite data We use the method to detect air pollution near Tinker Air Force Base in Midwest City, Oklahoma.
