Abstract
Cloud computing is a promising technology that it can enable the user to remotely transfers their work to the cloud. The cloud provides services to the user, the user will pay-on-demand. To ensure the privacy that only permits the authorized users can access the data on the cloud, thus, the user authentication is very important. There are many user authentication schemes, however, some of them are not suitable for cloud environment or the computation cost is very higher. In this paper we propose a lightweight mutual authentication scheme, which can be adopted in the cloud environment. Moreover, due to transfers the computing work to an authorized agency, this scheme is more efficient and practical compares with the related schemes.
