Abstract :
Many traffic accidents are occurred every year, among these accidents driver fatigue is an important reason. It is reported that about 25% traffic collisions are occurred due to driver fatigue. This is a serious threat to the driver and the passengers´ safety. Some fatigue detection system use image recognition to determine the driver´s fatigue, however, there are many factors can influence the detection result, moreover, a vast majority of these detection methods can only detect the late fatigue. In this paper, we propose a fatigue detection system architecture which is based on EEG sensor and transformer-type angular displacement sensor. This proposed system can detect the early fatigue and warn the driver with different ways when driver in different fatigue state.
