Quality Evaluation of College Foreign Language Textbook Based on SVM

Scientific evaluation on textbook is the key of quality evaluation construction of college foreign textbooks. It has practical value for compiling or implementing suitable textbooks. The evaluation of foreign textbooks should take into account actual effects and the fitness of textbook outline comprehensively. Therefore, this paper proposes a SVM-based textbook quality evaluation model. It provides the implementation idea for data mining, combining specific indicators of text quality evaluation, and integrates multi-classification of and partial binary tree with SVM. The experiments verify the data mining based on SVM is feasible and effective in college foreign textbook quality evaluation and classification.
