Abstract :
Tidal waves are tsunamis brought about by era of sudden developments in sea depths amid tremors (or) volcanic outburst. Travelling at speeds of 700km/hr and taking around 10 to 30 minutes they approach the coast with heights more than few meters causing catastrophic flooding thereby creating damage and destruction, diseases, cost, psychological effects and even death. In the proposed method, the earth´s vibration is monitored and the generated signals are used to alert people. Signal processing is done by using kalman filter. The system is cost effective, faster, offshore monitoring and early warning, integrated system for providing prediction, notification and warning all in a single package.
