Abstract
This paper presents an optimizated controller using queen-bee genetic algorithm. The controller parameters kp, ki, kd values are modified to achieve the best solution using queen bee genetic algorithm. The state space modeling of boost converter is done and its relation of output voltage with respect to duty cycle is derived. The PID controller is implemented in the feedback which is controlled by queen-bee genetic algorithm. The algorithm and the controller are implemented using MATLAB.
