Abstract :
This article consists of a collection of slides from the author´s conference presentation on the ability to reduce transistor variability for high performance, low power chips. Some of the specific topics discussed include: transistor variability and its impact on mobile system on chips power; limited low power design techniques; variability considerations; new transistor alternatives to reduce variability; and the outlook for mobile system on chip communications.
