A collection of slides from the author´s conference presentation is given. Some of the specific areas/topics discussed include: economics is driving force behind Moore´s law; power has always been a consideration; process and design collaboration required to address power challenges; technology advances provide a transistor budget to support innovation; and efficient design utilizes transistor budget to deliver product performance.
