Abstract :
This article deals with product optimization throughout its life cycle, from its planning to the project, production, maintenance and disposal, guided by competitiveness and sustainability. More specifically, it formulates the alignment of product strategies aimed at the Consumer, with particular attention to perceived quality and price, and the Producer, with particular attention paid to technical quality and costs. The article also analyzes the relationship between the positioning of the product and its technical project. It suggests how to consider criteria for competitiveness and sustainability in the planning and project phases of the product. Finally, a case study is presented and discussed.
