Abstract
An analysis and design of a suspended fractal antenna for Bluetooth applications has been presented in this paper. The proposed design is an octagonal fractal microstrip patch antenna. Conventional patch can be replaced by a suspended patch to get better resonating characteristics. The result show that the proposed antenna can be used for 2.4 GHz-2.48GHz frequency range, i.e. Bluetooth applications. In this paper the behavior of suspended fractal antenna numerically and experimentally analyzed.
