Abstract :
A compact two element diversity antenna operating over IEEE 802.11a (4.7-6 GHz), and IEEE 802.16 (3.4-3.8 GHz) frequency band is proposed for wireless USB Dongle applications. The projected antenna contains two alike dual branch monopole with each array having the dimensions of 20.25 × 5.5 mm2. The antenna array is impressed on the printed circuit board. In order to mitigate the coupling effects between the two radiating elements the meandered neutral line technique is used.
