Abstract :
This paper compares the differences of man-machine interaction between digital and paper note-taking. We set two tests including questionnaire test and NASA-TLX test. We analyzed statistical data on the ratio, reasons of users who use digital or paper note-taking, and the comparisons for NASA-TLX workload weight of different ways of note-taking as well as 6 items of each way. By determining the optimal target for the future digital note-taking means, we can take the advantages of paper note-taking like the comfortable man-machine interaction and high performance of reading comprehension combined with the conveniences of digital note-taking.
