Abstract :
In order to obtain the wavefront phase distribution information of the Adaptive Optics (AO) system, the wavefront restoration algorithm based on the slope detection method in Hartmann-Shack Sensor was designed and developed in this paper. We used Zernike polynomial for pattern search method, and designed a structural experiment with AO system. Firstly, we use the combination of short exposure image and detection to achieve image convolution method. Secondly, we calculate the wavefront slope value of each sub aperture in X and Y direction, and then establish the coefficients relationship with Zernike polynomial. The calculation shows that the proposed method in this paper can effectively obtain wavefront phase expansion in Circular domain, and can calculate control signal, so the proposed method made the AO system closed-loop operation. The experiment result shows that the algorithm can effectively measure the wavefront phase distortion information, improve the correction capability of AO system. After wavefront restoration, it makes the image energy more focused, and the corrected wavefront Strehl Ratio SR/λ is 0.269, when the incident wavelength λ=633.6nm.
