Abstract
Software as a Service (SaaS) is a software applied model which is based on the Internet, and provides users with ?on-demand paid? way of leasing software services. With the widely use of SaaS model and a surge of large amounts of data, SaaS providers begin to face challenges that how to maintain their own SaaS server environment, especially for quick migration and deployment. In order to face this challenge, this paper analyzes current prevailing virtualization technologies and proposes a new architecture of SaaS server environment, which is based on container-based virtualization technology and combined with the monitoring mechanism and ?semi-frozen? design thought, to implement quick migration and deployment of SaaS server environment. Finally, this paper provides part of performance verifications of the new architecture, which shows that it has the characteristics of lightweight, rapidity and reusability.
