  • Abstract
In the condition of safety and stability, the primary control goal in pure electric vehicles braking process is to recover as much regenerative energy as possible. The brake-force distribution strategy in this paper is based on fuzzy control. The inputs are braking intensity and vehicle velocity, which are the determinants of the proportion coefficient of motor braking. The simulation of the fuzzy control strategy is carried out in typical driving cycles by ADVISOR 2002, which is an electric vehicle simulation software. Through the results of the simulation, it´s easy to find that the strategy can improve the remaining SOC of the battery. Also the recycling efficiency of regenerative braking energy and total energy transfer efficiency are improved too.
