A study on processing of building settlement image based on Contourlet transform and Curvelet transform

Image will be inevitably polluted by noise in the process of generation and transmission. The paper adopts the method of observing image of scale over a long distance to record the settlement of the building. The image of scale is constituted by straight lines. Based on this kind of particularity, the paper will introduce the principle of Contourlet transform and Curvelet transform; denoising image with Contourlet transform and then strengthen image with Curvelet transform to make details of image of scale clearer and to observe its slight change. The paper makes full use of original information of image and information of noise to realize the denoising of image and to keep details. The result shows that the effect of the method of denoising mentioned is better.
