Abstract :
We provide a spatial encryption scheme with security against selectively chosen vectors and adaptively chosen ciphertext attacks (IND-sCV-CCA2). It is very useful in the Mobile e-Health Network. Compared with the underlying Boneh-Hamburg spatial encryption that proves to be selectively secure against chosen plaintext attacks (CPA), our construction achieves better security result with marginal additional costs, i.e., by only involving a standard collision-resistant hash functions. The basic idea is leveraging Boyen-Mei-Waters technique that converts CPA-secure Identity-Based Encryption to CCA2-secure Public Key Encryption by adding a virtual dimension for ciphertext verification. Efficiency analysis and experiment results show that our proposal is efficient in practice and fits actual usage.
