Abstract :
In order to effectively apply Pseudo-Zernike moments to image analysis and pattern recognition, the algorithm for accurate computation of Pseudo-Zernike moments is proposed. The algorithm firstly introduced a triangle-integration method, and used recursion relation to simplify calculation process. The performance of the algorithm is experimentally examined using grayscale image, and it shows that the computational accuracy and speed of Pseudo-Zernike has been obviously improved.
