  • Abstract
To the requirements that SOC equalization system for real-time data acquisition and accuracy of voltage, temperature and current of each single battery, using the special battery test chips- LTC6804-1 made in the company of Linear which have been cascaded and combining microprocessors of Freescale KEA128 series can complete the data collection to a large number of cells in a relatively short period of time. Currently equalization methods of the battery pack are mostly passive equilibrium, but it exists many shortcomings, such as low efficiency, plenty of fever, and it could not fully underpowered battery life ability. To overcome these problems, in this paper a kind of active equalization system based LTC3300-1 transformer is designed, the battery SOC as the balanced basis, it has higher balancing efficiency and larger energy efficiency. The experiments demonstrate its effect is obvious.
