Abstract
Because the intermittence and fluctuation of the wind turbine output, the integration of wind farm to distribution system brings great effect on voltage stability of grid. So the reactive power planning of wind farm distribution system should consider the impact of wind power on voltage stability. This paper addresses probabilistic model of wind turbine and uses point estimate method (PEM) as probability power flow calculation methodology. Then it establishes reactive power planning optimization formulation of distribution system which involves nodal voltage and branch power constraint as chance-constrained constraints and take distribution system probability voltage stability index as one of the multi-objective functions of the nonlinear optimal programming. To validate the proposed methodology, the IEEE33-bus system is taken as testing system which demonstrates the accuracy and effectiveness of the proposed method.
