Abstract :
Phase array antenna is considered as one of the most promising antenna systems in the present. The diagnosis of it is an important issue in the field of phase array antenna. So this paper will study a method of diagnosing the fault of phase array antenna. This method is based on phase-shifted measurement and use Walsh function to generate a special step control matrix to reduce the times of measurement. Then solve the measurement function to get the excitation of antenna. Compare the result and prior information to find the fault element. This paper use Matlab to stimulate the method and the result indicate the method is right and workable.
