Abstract :
According to the needs of a large domestic power plant engineering, we had developed a remote industrial control system ? GKS system. This project is the development of the OPC Server system in the GKS subsystem. This paper studied OPC technology specification is getting widely used in the industrial process control field, and development process based on the specification for the OPC server design of GKS system. The subsystem provides the data for application software of iFix host PC, and receives the control and configuration information from the application software. At the same time, the system provides control and configuration information of customers for hardware process, and collects data from the hardware process to prepare use by the application program. The system had realized safe and reliable communication between the iFix host PC application software and DCS control module. The OPC driver developed after the test has been applied in practical engineering. The communication with good performance was realized between monitor and control system of domestic self-developed based on Ethernet protocol and iFix5.1 configuration software. The system has good universality, flexibility and openness.
