Abstract
The purpose of this research is to validate logistics service quality (LSQ) scale proposed by Mentzer, Flint, and Kent (MFK) to measure logistics service provided by 3PL provider in East Java, Indonesia. This research uses confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) to validate the LSQ scale. In the CFA model, LSQ as second order construct consist of 9 first order constructs and 25 items scale. Based on the evaluation done by 115 logistic managers from manufacturing industries in East Java, the LSQ scale tested on US logistics managers is considered valid to the situation in East Java. Those nine first order constructs are information quality, ordering procedures, timeliness, order accuracy, order quality, order condition, order discrepancy handling, and personal contact quality has been proven to have significant impact to LSQ.
