Abstract
A multiple three-phase machine is a machine with multiple three-phase stator winding groups. These three-phase groups can be conFig.d symmetrically or asymmetrically. This work investigates the optimal displacement for nine-phase (3×3) machine to minimize the input current ripple. From the analytical result, it can be concluded that the symmetrical configuration provides minimum input current ripple. Simulations were conducted to support the analytical result.
