Abstract :
Carrier aggregation (CA) is one of the key techniques to support the wider bandwidth and fulfil the higher data rate requirement for the LTE-Advanced system. Most of existing resource scheduling schemes only take one aspect of problems into account like channel quality or traffic load separately. Besides, they rarely guarantee quality of experience (QoE) of different users. The aggregated carriers in different frequency band have different coverage and the classical scheduler structures are not suitable in such scenario. This paper designs a modified scheduler model that introduces a priority weight factor and proposes a QoE-based multiservice resource scheduling scheme. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed scheme can achieve remarkable performance improvements in terms of the QoE, system throughput, load balance and the fairness.
