Abstract :
The demand for non isolated ZVZCS (Zero voltage Zero current) DC-DC converter with high voltage gain is increases day by day. This converter is suitable for the application such as Hybrid electrical vehicles, fuel cell, ups etc. The proposed method consist of non transformer ZVZCS RPWM high step up dc-dc converter with improved switching method suitable for high power applications. The proposed converter achieves zero voltage switching turn on of the switches as well as reduced turn off the losses in continuous conduction mode which consist of resonance in the auxiliary circuit. As the result of proposed method, by considering small duty cycle reverse recovery losses of diode becomes negligible with low switch current. The auxiliary capacitor reduces its cost & volume as compared with PWM method. In order to verify the result a non transformer ZVZCS RPWM dc-dc converter is designed in MATLAB/SIMULINK & compared with prototype hardware results.
