Abstract :
This paper deals with the optimal control strategy for flight control of two degree of freedom helicopter (DOF). The design is composed of various controllers for controlling pitch and yaw motions of helicopter. PID, state feedback control (SFC) and Linear Quadratic Regulator (LQR) control are designed and compared the performance of each controller with simulation results.
