Abstract :
Remote patient health monitoring is the recent trend in biomedical field. Main issues related with such system design are low power and portability. In this paper a data acquisition system to measure body parameters like temperature and heartbeat is developed and experimented. Module functionality is realized using ultra low power digital sensors and LPC 2148 ARM controller. Bluetooth and GSM module is used for wireless real time signal transmission. Power consumption analysis is carried out with respect to module implementation.
