Abstract
Metaheuristic algorithms such as Bat algorithm, is now becoming powerful algorithm to solve many tough optimization problems. In fact, it is one of the new proposed metaheuristic algorithms to perform global optimization. And it has a good performance compared to the other most famous algorithms such as particle swarm optimization (PSO) or the genetic algorithm (GA). The application of BA in this paper is based on mathematical model to solve some dispatch computing problems by a single equivalent objective function. That´s why we proposed a new metaheuristic algorithm, the BA, based on the echolocation behavior of micro bats implemented in FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array). We also intend to combine the benefit of existing algorithms using the FSM (Finite State Machine) into the new bat algorithm to accelerate the execution time of our algorithm.
