Abstract :
An efficient management of renewable energy sources (RES) is one of the major issues in present power sector which can satisfy the energy requirements of particular area in proper and sustainable manner. The efficient utilization of RES along with pumped storage power plant will help to reduce the total cost of generation. The main objective of the present work is to determine the optimal capacity of pumped storage plant by efficient management of different modes of RES like hydro power, wind energy, PV (solar) energy with conventional units to meet the current energy requirements.
