Abstract
A networked control system is a feedback control system which uses a sharing network for the communication between actuator, sensor and plant. This paper converse the modified smith predictor design for a type of networked control system with time delay. The designed modified smith predictor results have been compared with the PI controller and smith predictor. The networked control system stability is restricted on delay. However unpredictability of the delay is a key property in the network communication. Simulation results show the usefulness of the time delay compensation schemes given in this paper.
