Abstract :
This paper investigate the performance of the Universal filter with three input and single output based on Transconductance CMOS Inverter based positive type second generation current conveyor (TCI-CCII+) using two resistors and two capacitors. The filter realizes the three filter responses i.e. Low-pass, High-pass and Band-pass responses due to multiple responses generate by the filter by applying proper input voltages at the nodes of their input terminals, thus the filter name given universal filter. The filter is design on 0.18um technology with supply voltage of 1.8 volts. The analyses of transconductance behaviour of CMOS Inverter (TCI), Gain and 3-dB bandwidth calculation for Transconductance CMOS Inverter based positive type second generation current conveyor (TCI-CCII+) and Three filter responses i.e. Low-pass, High-pass and Band-pass are obtained. All simulation results are obtained on spectra tool using cadence 180 nm CMOS parameter.
