Abstract :
In this paper, a dual-frequency broadband patch antenna with matched load and capacitive patch is proposed for GSM/DCS application. It is based on common patch antenna. In order to achieve the 900/1800MHz dual-band performance and directional radiation, the matched load and capacitive patch are added into modified antenna. As simulated by HFSS13.0 software dual-frequency broadband is obtained. The impedance bandwidth are 90MHz and 200MHz respectively. The calculated results were confirmed by measurements on the prototype.
