Abstract :
In this paper, the idea of applying cuckoo search algorithm to search for key-points in 2D images is formulated. For a set of test images we present and verify simplified version, it´s efficiency and precision. Research results are presented and discussed in comparison to classic methods like simplified SURF and SIFT algorithms to show potential efficiency of applied computational intelligence.
