Abstract :
We propose a new routing protocol for the Wireless Sensor Network (WSN). The protocol bases on the PEGASIS protocol, but using an improved ant colony algorithm and thought of neural network rather than the greedy algorithm to build the chain. Compared with the original PEGASIS, the new protocol can achieve a large optimization. It forms a chain that makes the path more even distributed and the total square of transmission distance much less. The protocol uses the thought of neural network to select the chain head, it utilizes ant colony algorithm to find the best path to send data to the BS and the whole area divided into multiple equal parts. It realizes a balance of energy consumption between nodes.
