Abstract :
Harbor-style bus station is an important infrastructure in urban transit system, which is famous for its safe and convenience for passengers. However, when arriving or departing the bus station, capacity of adjacent arterial road was affected significantly. In this paper, we established influence model on arterial road in normal and spillover two situations. In the normal situation, influence model was proposed with considering the procedure of arriving and departing bus station, in the spillover situation, the influence of lane change behavior of other vehicles on the outmost lane and second outmost lane was taken into account when establishing models. From the simulation we conclude that average errors of the model in two situations are 2.65% and 2.9% respectively, which is satisfied to reflect the influence of harbor style bus station on arterial road capacity.
