  • Abstract
    A distributive on-chip voltage regulation design for power supply in AMOLED driver IC has been proposed in this paper. Compared to the traditional lumped voltage regulation scheme, the distributive approach avoids the long power wire routing to the loading blocks, and reduces the IR drop of the supply voltage. The supply voltage value is more accurate, and the load regulation of the power module is greatly improved. The proposed distributive scheme was verified in an AMOLED driver IC by simulation with 0.18 μm technology.
