Abstract :
The basic idea of designing E-plane rectangular corrugated horn antenna which works at the frequency of 10GHz was introduced. Comparison was made between smooth wall horn and corrugated horn, and research on the far field pattern influenced by corrugated duty cycle and depth was carried out. Through the numerical modeling and simulating, higher gain and lower side lobe of corrugated horn than the smooth wall horn have been achieved. The effect of different corrugated duty cycle and different depth on corrugated horn was studied by changing the parameters.
